Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use GenRebirth. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. Your Account

  • You may only maintain one account per person.
  • You may not impersonate another person or create an account on behalf of someone else without their consent.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Do not share your password with anyone.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you create and upload. By posting content on GenRebirth, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, and distribute your content solely within and for the purposes of operating the Service. This licence ends when you delete your content or your account, except where copies have been shared by other users or retention is required by law.

4. Community Guidelines

The following content is strictly prohibited on GenRebirth:

  • Violent, graphic, or harmful content.
  • Sexual or sexually suggestive content.
  • Hate speech, harassment, bullying, or discrimination of any kind.
  • Content promoting illegal activities, drugs, or dangerous behaviour.
  • Spam, scams, phishing, or misleading content.
  • Content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others.
  • Off-concept or irrelevant videos that do not relate to the purpose of the Service.
  • Any content that endangers, exploits, or is harmful to minors.

GenRebirth has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Such content is removed and offending accounts are banned.

You can report any post or block any user from inside the app, and we review every report within 24 hours. Violation of these guidelines may result in content removal, a warning, or a permanent ban at our sole discretion.

5. GenPoints & Rewards

  • GenPoints are earned through activity on the Service such as uploading videos and completing daily challenges.
  • Points determine your rank and unlock features within the app.
  • Points may be redeemed for rewards within the Service. Rewards have no cash value and cannot be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for cash.
  • The rewards programme is currently in a testing phase. Reward redemption is not yet active and no rewards have been distributed. We will announce when the programme goes live.
  • We reserve the right to adjust, reset, or modify the points and rewards system at any time.

6. GenCoin

  • GenCoin is a virtual currency earned within the Service through games, chests, and completing tasks. It cannot be purchased.
  • GenCoin can be used for in-app features and donations to other users.
  • For donations between users, the creator receives 42.5% of the donated amount; the remainder covers platform and processing costs.
  • GenCoin has no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash outside the Service.

7. Prohibited Behaviour

You agree not to:

  • Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to interact with the Service.
  • Manipulate rankings, votes, moderation decisions, or any other system within the Service.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or our systems.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
  • Use the Service for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms.

8. Account Warnings & Termination

We enforce the following consequences for violations:

  1. Warning: notification of the violation with a request to correct behaviour.
  2. Permanent ban: account terminated and access revoked indefinitely.

If your account is terminated due to a violation of these Terms, any remaining GenCoin balance is forfeited.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by posting the revised Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
