Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 12 years old to use GenRebirth. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. By creating an account you confirm that you meet these requirements.

2. Your Account

• You may only maintain one account per person.
• You may not impersonate another person or create an account on behalf of someone else without their consent.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Do not share your password with anyone.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you create and upload. By posting content on GenRebirth, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, and distribute your content solely within and for the purposes of operating the Service. This licence ends when you delete your content or your account, except where copies have been shared by other users or retention is required by law.

4. Community Guidelines

The following content is strictly prohibited on GenRebirth:

• Violent, graphic, or harmful content.
• Sexual or sexually suggestive content.
• Hate speech, harassment, bullying, or discrimination of any kind.
• Content promoting illegal activities, drugs, or dangerous behaviour.
• Spam, scams, phishing, or misleading content.
• Content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others.
• Off-concept or irrelevant videos that do not relate to the purpose of the Service.
• Any content that endangers, exploits, or is harmful to minors.

Violation of these guidelines may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban at our sole discretion.

5. GenWatch Moderation System

GenRebirth operates a community-driven moderation system called GenWatch. Eligible, high-ranked users may review content that has been flagged by the community. GenWatch privileges are earned through positive participation and can be revoked at any time if abused. Decisions made through GenWatch are subject to review by us.

6. GenPoints

• GenPoints are earned through activity on the Service such as uploading videos and completing daily challenges.
• Points determine your rank and unlock features within the app.
• GenPoints have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for cash.
• We reserve the right to adjust, reset, or modify the points system at any time.

7. GenCoin

• GenCoin is a virtual currency purchased with real money via Stripe on the GenRebirth website.
• GenCoin can be used for in-app features, paid game replays, and donations to other users.
• A 15% platform commission is applied to all GenCoin donations between users.
• GenCoin purchases are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.
• GenCoin has no real-world monetary value outside the Service.

8. Prohibited Behaviour

You agree not to:

• Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to interact with the Service.
• Manipulate rankings, votes, moderation decisions, or any other system within the Service.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or our systems.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
• Use the Service for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms.

9. Account Suspension & Termination

We enforce an escalating system of consequences for violations:

1. Warning: notification of the violation with a request to correct behaviour.
2. Temporary suspension: restricted access to the Service for a defined period.
3. Permanent ban: account terminated and access revoked indefinitely.

If your account is terminated due to a violation of these Terms, any remaining GenCoin balance is forfeited.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by posting the revised Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
